A private watch workshop
Your watch workshop: learn the craft, then find, fix and build.
TimeWrights is a workshop for watch collectors, hobby watchmakers and builders. It runs on your own Mac or Windows computer, with companion apps for iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets to take to the bench, and your records stay on your own devices.
Who it's for
Collectors
Know what you're looking at before you buy, and keep the history of every watch you own: where it came from, its condition, its services, its photos and papers.
Hobby watchmakers
From a first strap or battery change to a first full service: what to learn next, how a particular movement comes apart and goes back together, and a log of the work.
Builders and modders
Putting a watch together from a case, dial and movement that were never made for each other: what fits a calibre, with the source for each figure.

Movements, rendered by TimeWrights
Three of the calibres in the Movement Explorer, as TimeWrights renders them.
ETA 2671A small automatic with date: 17.2 mm across, 25 jewels (ETA's technical communication for the 2671).
Seiko NH36An automatic with day and date, shown from the dial side with its day disc above the date ring (Seiko's published specification for the NH36).
Seiko NH38An automatic with an open heart and no date (Seiko's published technical documents for the NH3 family).
These are TimeWrights' own 3D renders, built from the facts in the makers' published documents: the parts, their sizes and the order they go together in. They aren't photographs, and nothing in them is traced from anyone's drawings or photographs. Like every picture in TimeWrights, they're an initial guide: your own photographs are the record of your movement.
